Commitments
-
We are responsible for how we enter every space. We are responsible for how we react, how we listen, and how we learn. We are responsible for creating space for others to feel invited and included. We are responsible for creating change instead of accepting the status quo as enough.
In action this commitment looks like building a sustainable and ethical independent studio where the artist and audience are nourished.
-
We understand gratitude is an action word. We thank you, we see you, we value you. We believe you are unique and we love your uniqueness.
In action this commitment looks like creating and celebrating stories that reflect the varied intersections in which queer women and nonbinary protagonists can exist.
-
The more we receive, the more we have to give. With collective and collaborative action we support other storytellers who focus on queer protagonists.
In action this commitment looks like For All Queerkind — a membership driven grant given to storytellers creating films and series with LGBTQIA+ protagonists.

Elishia K Constantine
Elishia is extremely good at one thing. And that is story. Whether she's listening, crafting or sharing, Elishia's passion for story is what fuels her desire to build a world in which queer women and nonbinary folks get equitable opportunities to see characters who look and love like them as the protagonists.
In 2021 Elishia founded Canon Divergence, a story studio that focuses on inclusive queer storytelling. She's currently working on the short superhero film Black Sage, and the feature romantic drama, Epic Fail or Something Like It. Elishia very much just wants to see more women and nonbinary folks kissing and having a a gay old time onscreen. If that's your jam, find her @elishiathegreat on all the things where people are social so you don't miss a second of the story.
